Abhimanyu Acharya is a writer based out of Gujarat, India. He is pursuing his PhD in Comparative Literature at The University of Western Ontario, Canada. He has published his first collection of short stories. His plays have been staged in Ahmedabad, Manipal and London, Ontario.
Ajay Sharma is a visual artist based in Baroda, Gujarat. Recipient of Lalit Kala Akademi scholarships, Ajay has exhibited his works in several solo and group exhibitions across India.
Amitesh Grover has studied Live & Digital Arts at University of Arts London, U.K. His works are shown internationally at festivals and in theatres, galleries, public spaces, and on the internet. He is the recipient of MASH FICA Award for New Media Artist (2019), and was recently announced as Artistic Director for ITFOK Theatre Festival, Kerala 2020.
Amrita Gupta Singh is an art historian, researcher and writer with an interest in art education and management. Currently, she is COO of the online art initiative, V-IDEO | Ideas Worth Sharing, an archive of short videos on Indian artists and other members of the Indian art world.
Anuj Deshpande is a writer, translator and actively engaged in theatre activities in Pune.
Anuja Ghosalkar is a Bangalore based artist. Drama Queen, her Documentary theatre company, focusses on personal histories & archives to extend the idea of theatre to create audacious work. In the past, Anuja has worked at India Foundation for the Arts, Experimenta, in curating and teaching cinema, & as a researcher with University of Westminster.
Anupama Alias is a visual artist based in Kerala, India. She has completed her MFA (Applied Arts) from Govt. RLV College Thripunithura, Kochi and MFA (Painting) from SN School of arts and Communication, University of Hyderabad.
Ashlesha Gore is a published Marathi translator based in Pune. She loves to translate fictions. She is also interested in languages, reading and theatre.
Ashutosh Potdar has one-act and full-length plays, poems, short fiction and scholarly essays in Marathi and English to his credit. Two collections of his plays are published by Watermark Publication. He is the recipient of a number of awards including Maharashtra Foundation Award and Ram Ganesh Gadkari Award given by Government of Maharashtra.
Ashwan Jamwal is Delhi based visual artist. He has completed BFA (Painting) from Institute of Music and Fine Art, Jammu University and MFA (Painting) from Kala Bhavan, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan.
Azra Bhagat is a designer, art director and writer. With a BA (Hons) from London College of Communication in 2013 she has been pursing a creative career for the last 5 years. Currently, she is pursuing the Young India Fellowship Program at Ashoka University, Sonepat.
Chandrashekhar Jahagirdar (1945-2013) was a distinguished scholar and critic writing in Marathi and English and, a professor of English at Department of English, Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
Dibyajyoti Sarma has published three volumes of poetry and an academic book, besides numerous writing credits in edited volumes, journals and websites. He was born in Assam and now lives in Delhi, where he works as a journalist and runs the independent publishing venture Red River.
Kai Tuchmann is a theatre maker based in Beijing and Berlin. His stagings and dramaturgies were invited to several international theatre festivals. Kai is a member of the Dramaturgy Faculty at China’s Central Academy of Drama and of the Performing Arts Management Faculty at Frankfurt’s University of Music and Performing Arts. He is also a Board Member of the Marvin Carlson Theatre Center in Shanghai and New York.
Kedarnath Singh (1934-2018) was a well-known Hindi poet. He was also an eminent critic and essayist. He was awarded the Jnanpith Award (2013), Sahitya Akademi Award (1989) in Hindi for his poetry collection, Akaal Mein Saras (Cranes in Drought).
Krishna Kimbahune is a Marathi fiction writer, critic and translator. He has a collection of short stories, Prathampurush aani Bhumiti besides several short stories and critical articles published in a number of literary journals. He works as Regional Secretary, Western Regional Office in Mumbai, Sahitya Akademi, National Academy of Letters, Govt of India.
Kunal Purohit is journalist for over 12 years now and has worked for publications like the Hindustan Times, The Daily News and Analysis and the Free Press Journal. Kunal is the recipient of Ramnath Goenka Award For Excellence in Journalism, the Statesman Award for Rural Reporting as well as the Laadli Media Award for Gender Sensitive Reporting.
Madhuri Dixit is an associate professor at Premraj Sarda Mahavidyalaya, Ahmednagar. She is a researcher in the field of social and cultural studies. Also, she is a theatre scholar.
Mangesh Narayanrao Kale is a poet, painter, publisher and visual arts critic. He has published five collections of poetry. He has received several awards for poetry-writing and publishing a literary journal, Khel. Kale’s painting exhibitions are held regularly all over India.
Nancy Adajania is a cultural theorist and curator based in Bombay. Since the late-1990s, she has written consistently on the practices of four generations of Indian women artists and has proposed several new theoretical models on transculturality, the biennial culture, public art, new media art and subaltern art. She is currently working on the forthcoming retrospective of Sudhir Patwardhan at the NGMA, Bombay.
Navjot Altaf is a visual artist based in between Mumbai and Bastar. Her practice involves painting, sculptures, installations, video and site-specific works that negotiate various disciplinary boundaries. She has been participating in national and international seminars, exhibitions and curatorial projects. Navjot is one of the founder members of a center ‘Dialogue – interactive Artists Association’, Kondagaon, Chhattisgarh.
Neha Bhat is a trauma-informed art psychotherapist and artist who specialises in feminist art therapy and counseling between India and the US. She offers counseling sessions, online and in-person focused on sexual-violence focused trauma, relationship trauma, issues around gender and sexuality. She advocates serving the wellbeing of the LGBTQI+ community and has a disability-aware, kink and poly aware practice.
Ramu Ramanathan is an editor, playwright and director. He has several plays to his credit including Cotton 56, Polyester 84, Jazz, Comrade Kumbhakarna, and Postcards From Bardoli.
Ranganath Pathare is a critically acclaimed Marathi writer. He is known for writing in different areas: fiction, criticism and, general writing on society and culture as a thinker. Pathare is the recipient of a number of awards including Sahitya Akademi award in 1999. He has retired as a professor of Physics from a college in Sangamner.
Shilpa Bhide is a dancer, translator, and teacher of dance as well as languages. She holds Master’s degree in Classical Dance (Kathak) as well as in French.
Suhit Kelkar’s journalistic work has appeared in various Indian and international publications, including Al Jazeera Online, Open, The Bombay Literary Magazine and Caravan. He has also published poetry chapbook titled The Centaur Chronicles.
Umesh Singh is a final year MFA student at the Department of Print-Making, S. N. School, University of Hyderabad. He has participated in several group exhibitions including Students’ Biennale at Kochi Muziris Biennale 2018.
